Senior Regulatory Compliance Associate
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding CySEC Licensed Investment Firm with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Regulatory Compliance Associate to join their team. The successful applicant will possess a minimum of 3+ years of relevant compliance and/or legal experience with working knowledge of the EU regulatory framework. Fluency in English is a must.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analysis of incoming regulations and support implementation.
- Draft written policies and procedures.
- Conduct gap analysis of policies and procedures and assist with the remediation of noted deficiencies.
- Issue high level compliance memos.
- Provide compliance advice and solutions for various business projects.
- Produce risk assessments of regulatory developments and business initiatives.
- Conducting gap analysis of policies and procedures and assist with the remediation of noted deficiencies.
Key Skills/Experience:
- 3-5 years of compliance or related legal experience.
- Experience in working with Financial Regulations.
- A degree in Law, Accounting, Business or related field.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the EU regulatory framework (including MiFID II and the EU passporting regime).
- Ability to work with the business and build smooth working relationships.
- Analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise in a fast moving, constantly changing environment.
- Effective communicator.
