Senior Construction Project Manager
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most well-established and respected Construction & Engineering Firms with over 60 years of history, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Construction Project Manager to join their growing teams based in either Nicosia or Limassol. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will oversee construction works onsite, ensuring project quality, costs and timeframes are managed appropriately. As part of your role, you will also coordinate the work of subcontractors and appointed subcontractors, as well as prepare monthly progress report for projects. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Civil Engineering, who are members of ETEK or another relevant professional body, who possess in excess of 15+ years of relevant professional project management experience gained working in the construction sector. Fluency in Greek and English is a must, along with strong leadership and management skills. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, based on skills and experience. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervise
construction site, both for quality and for the time and cost of the work.
- Coordination
of the work of subcontractors and appointed subcontractors.
- Preparation
of measurements for material orders and subcontractor payments.
- Preparation
of a monthly progress report of the projects.
- Monitoring
the schedule of the projects.
- Measurement
of projects for tenders as required.
- Responsible
for health and safety issues at the construction site he/she supervises or
where requested.
- Compliance
with company procedures.
- Preparation
of the project work programme.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Holder
of a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Member
of ETEK or member of a corresponding professional body recognized by ETEK.
- At
least 15+ years of experience in the construction sector.
- Integrity
of character, organizational ability, responsibility, initiative and
discernment.
- Understanding
and implementation of construction plans.
- Be able
to operate in an environment with increased demands and within the
required deadlines.
- To be
productive/productive and to have corresponding demands from its
subordinates.
- Ability
to properly manage time, available resources and proper hierarchy of the
work schedule.
- Be able to read, write and communicate in Greek and English.
