Role Overview:
The Service Engineer will be responsible for meeting
the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customer’s equipment either
at the premises of the company or the client’s. Establish and maintain proper
business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary
administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting,
installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
- Assisting
the Technical Manager.
- Completing
preventative maintenance and field modifications.
- Installing
new medical & scientific instrumentation.
- Comprehending
and following instruction manual.
- Keeping
up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining
customer, service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
- Maintaining
daily communications with clients to ensure resolution and proper
follow-up.
- Meeting
Safety and Health and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Contacting
the machinery vendors about any technical issues that might come up,
following the technical manager’s instructions.
- Providing
immediate technical telephone support or going at the client’s premises.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering Technology, or other equivalent degree with 2+ years’
experience in servicing Diagnostic Biochemistry/Immunology/Hematology
analysers.
- Proficient
level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Fluency
in Greek and English (Written & Spoken).
- Driving
licence.
- Ability
to travel within Cyprus and abroad.
- Excellent
communication and client service skills.
- Excellent
time management and organisation skills are essential.
- Attention
to detail.
- Ability
to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
- Able to
work productively in a pressurized environment.
- Previous
experience in a similar position in the field of medical and scientific
instrumentation will be considered an advantage.
