CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established service provider, offering a comprehensive range of professional services, including Company Incorporations, Tax Advisory, as well as Accounting and Audit solutions to a diverse portfolio of both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit an Audit Supervisor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an Audit Supervisor, you will primarily be responsible for planning, executing, and completing audits, preparing comprehensive audit files for Partner review, and preparing financial statements. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field, who are full members of a recognised accounting body (ACA/ACCA/CPA). You will need to possess approximately 5+ years of experience in the audit field, and hold strong knowledge in accounting and VAT, as well as hands-on experience working with Caseware Audit International software. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes an attractive base salary, 13th salary, performance-related bonus, 21 days annual leave, and Friday afternoon’s off.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Planning, execution and completion of audits & preparing complete audit files for review by the Partner.
  • Prepare Financial Statements.
  • Support the accounting department with challenging tasks.
  • Preparing Tax computations, preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Tax clearance engagements.
  • Ad hoc advisory projects.
  • Reporting to Partner regarding status, progress and completion of audits.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
  • Full member of a recognised accounting body (ACA/ACCA/CPA).
  • Approximately 5+ years of audit experience.
  • Knowledge of Caseware Audit International is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge in accounting and VAT.
  • Knowledge of Taxisnet, Tax Portal and TaxForAll platforms.
  • Initiative and critical thinking.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English.
  • Ability to deliver results and meet deadlines.
  • Great team player.
