Senior Client Accountant
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a highly respected and long-established provider of Audit & Accounting services to both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Client Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for providing accounting and bookkeeping services to a portfolio of mainly international clients, as well as providing support to the audit department as required. Part or Fully Qualified ACCA/ACA candidates are encouraged to apply and you will need to possess approximately 3+ of relevant work experience providing accounting services to a portfolio of clients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English are essential.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain
books and records and manage a portfolio of clients (both local but mainly
international business).
- Good
Knowledge and understanding of the VAT legislation.
- Deal
with complex accounting transactions and advise on recording of records.
- Liaise
with the auditors and ensure of the accuracy of the accounting information
to be handed over.
- Preparation of the audit file and Financial Statements (Caseware) for sending to the Auditors.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s
in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Business Management or another
related field.
- Approximately
3+ years of relevant work experience in Client Accounting is essential.
- ACCA/ACA
Qualified or Part Qualified will be considered an advantage, but not
essential.
- Deep
understanding of the reporting of complex financial transactions.
- Confident
individual, able to communicate in a clear and effective manner.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English.
