Client Accountant
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and expanding provider of Audit & Accounting Services to both Local & International clients, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing accounting and bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients from a range of industry sectors. An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field is desirable and candidates working towards the ACCA qualification are encouraged to apply. You will need to posses approximately 2+ years of proven experience working in a similar role and be fluent in both Greek & English.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managing
a portfolio of clients and accommodate their reporting and filings.
- Preparation
and filing of VAT and VIES reports.
- Preparation
of accounting books.
- Preparation
of management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Direct
communication with clients.
- Reporting to Supervisor.
Key Skills/Experience:
- An
academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or any
other relevant field is desirable.
- Holders
of the LCCI Higher or those working towards the ACCA qualification are
encouraged to apply.
- Approximately
2+ years of previous experience working in a similar position is
essential.
- Computer
skills in MS office, Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Knowledge
of accounting software Cycom and Caseware will be considered as an
advantage.
- Excellent
knowledge of English and Greek language.
- Ambitious, fast learner with good organizational skills.
