CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a versatile and innovative technology company that has been enabling digital transformation solutions for financial institutions in more than 30 countries worldwide, we are seeking to recruit an IT Business Analyst to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an IT Business Analyst, you will primarily be responsible for gathering, documenting, and organising business requirements through Confluence, and other available tools. As part of your role, you will also participate in internal and client meetings, contributing to requirement clarification and documentation. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in a relevant field, who possess up to 3 years of experience in a relevant position. Prior experience in business and requirements analysis is highly desirable, with any familiarity with digital banking or financial services considered a plus. An attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience, including a 13th salary and Provident Fund.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Learn the company’s product and stay up to date with product changes and enhancements.
  • Gather, document, and organise business requirements through Confluence or other available tools.
  • Use company documentation templates and apply standard business terminology to ensure consistency.
  • Participate in internal and client meetings to observe, contributing to requirement clarification and documentation.
  • Respond to business analysis-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle and follow-up on assigned projects’ Jira tickets related to business analysis bugs or functional clarifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Other related responsibilities.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or another related field is desirable.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a relevant position is essential.
  • Experience in business and requirements analysis is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with digital banking or financial services will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is highly desirable.
  • Holders of any relevant Business Analysis certifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills; interviewing and listening skills to gather detailed business needs.
  • Organizational and planning skills; ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Fluency in both written and oral English.
