CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established company operating in the Retail & Leisure sectors, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team based in Limassol. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting and bookkeeping duties, including processing invoices, receipts, payments and handling day-to-day accounting related tasks. Our client is seeking candidates who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with previous experience in accounting considered an advantage. Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek is essential. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th salary, Medical Insurance, Provident Fund and Life Insurance.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, receipts, payments and handle day-to-day accounting related tasks.
  • Record financial transactions in the accounting system and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform regular suppliers and bank reconciliations.
  • Collection management.
  • Ensure proper filing and document retention in line with internal policies.
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and year-end audits.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in accounting is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS reporting standards is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
