Civil Engineer (Ready-Mix Concrete)
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Group of Companies with diverse business interests, including owning and operating one of the largest ready-mixed concrete production facilities in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Civil Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role ensuring the quality of concrete produced, including conducting strength and consistency tests, and optimising concrete mix compositions. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Civil Engineering, who are registered members of ETEK. Prior experience in a relevant role is highly desirable, although junior-level applicants with appropriate academic backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. Existing knowledge of concrete technology and construction materials is required, with any experience with quality control and material testing considered an advantage. You will need to be fluent in Greek, and possess good working knowledge of the English language. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th salary, provident fund, paid overtime, and more! Working hours are 07:00 – 15:00/16:00 from Monday to Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Quality control of produced concrete.
- Conducting strength and consistency tests.
- Technical support to clients.
- Optimization of concrete mix compositions.
- Compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaboration with the production and sales team.
- Maintenance of technical records and reports.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering.
- Registration with ETEK (Cyprus Scientific and Technical
Chamber).
- Prior experience in a relevant role is highly
desirable, although Recent Graduates with appropriate academic backgrounds
are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of concrete technology and construction
materials.
- Experience in quality control and material testing is
desirable.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
- Excellent command of the Greek language, with good
knowledge of English.
