Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Organise
and coordinate Board and Committee meetings, draft agendas, minutes, and
reports to a high standard.
- Take
responsibility for all Cypriot corporate law matters, provide relevant
advice and maintain all corporate documentation.
- Assist
the Board and other Committees on specific projects.
- Proactively
collaborate with the global legal team in providing top-class legal
advice.
- Be the
first pair of eyes on contract reviews.
- Stay up
to date with legal developments and expand your legal knowledge.
- Supporting
the Legal Team for collection of signatures on various documents; tracking
and tracing documents (legalisation, apostille, review, signature
verification, etc) and ensuring legal files and records are complete and
up-to-date.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Education
to a degree level (background in law, politics or governance preferred).
- 2+
years of experience in a legal/corporate secretarial role in any of the
following: regulated investment firm, fintech, or other regulated entity.
- Excellent
understanding of the principles of good governance and ability to apply
them in practice.
- Strong
organisational and planning skills, including excellent time management
skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work, understanding the
importance of deadlines.
- High
attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Experience
in project management is a plus.
- Open-minded,
willing to learn, team player with a hands-on personality but able to work
under supervision as well as autonomously.
- Excellent
communication, presentation and collaboration skills; ability to present
to internal and external parties.
- A
positive can-do attitude is essential.
- Proficiency
in MS Office.
- Excellent
written and oral communication skills in English are a must.
