CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and growing CySEC Licensed Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Payment Operations Specialist to join their team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for researching and identifying suitable payment methods for clients, such as bank transfers, credit card payments or e-wallets, based on the company's needs as well as the clients' location. You will need to possess approximately 3+ years of previous experience in payment operations, with a good understanding of payment technologies and be fluent in both verbal and written English. Our client offers Hybrid working conditions for this role.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Researching and identifying suitable payment methods for clients, such as bank transfers, credit card payments, or e-wallets, based on the company's needs and the clients' location.
  • Working closely with data to determine the approval ratios of each PM by country/region and continually optimizing our services and processes to meet company goals.
  • Managing relationships with payment service providers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring performance.
  • Participating actively in product development related to markets.com cashier and participating in integration projects of payment solutions.
  • Overseeing the processing and reconciliation of payments and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Collaborating with other teams, such as sales, customer support, and finance, to ensure smooth payment processes for clients.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of payment methods and transactions.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in payment operations, including experience with payment technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of payment regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
