Senior Compliance Officer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Venture Capital & Investment Firm with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Compliance Officer to join their expanding team. The successful applicant will hold 5+ years of relevant Compliance experience preferably from a Consulting and/or Law firm. Excellent communication skills in Greek & English are a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage and administer all policies and procedures associated with regulatory compliance requirements in different jurisdictions (Cyprus, Luxembourg, Cayman Islands, UK, Germany) in liaison with local counsels/administrators, as needed.
  • Prepare and submit all required regulatory filings and disclosure documents in a timely and accurate manner, in coordination with legal counsel, as needed.
  • Implement, update and monitor KYC / AML policies and procedures.
  • Train personnel on regulatory compliance matters to enhance understanding and awareness throughout the organization.
  • Review Company's materials, website, blogs, social media pages and other public media for compliance.
  • Maintain systematic records of Company's compliance program in the event of an outside audit and/or regulatory examination.
  • Interface with regulators, examiners and outside legal counsel, as needed.
  • Research regulatory laws, rules and regulations related to securities law compliance.
  • Implement and manage all policies and procedures associated with Company's and / or client’s regulatory compliance program.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • University Graduate with an undergraduate degree in Law or Business Administration.
  • Holder of CySEC Advanced and/or AML certificate.
  • At least 5+ years of investment adviser compliance experience at a consulting firm, law firm, investment adviser.
  • Experience in Venture Capital industry is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Greek.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Eye for detail, able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
