CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding International Group of Companies that offers clients a wide range of Logistical & Distribution services, including Ocean & Air Freight, Road Transportation & Warehousing, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Executive to join their growing team based in either Nicosia or Limassol. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful applicant will primarily be responsible for generating new sales opportunities for the Group through proactive business development initiatives. An academic background relating to Business Administration and/or Marketing will be considered an advantage and you will need to possess approximately 3+ years of proven sales and business development experience, ideally from a relevant industry sector, with a proven track record of meeting and ideally exceeding designated sales targets.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to the implementation of department policies and pprocedures and achieve department targets.
  • Coordinate with Sales Manager/General Manager about identifying new sales targets and opportunities.
  • Follow up the bookings of the existing and new sales accounts.
  • Ensure that new clients will be added to the company portfolio every month.
  • Answer clients’ calls and efficiently respond to their requests.
  • Engage in promoting company products.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers through face-to-face meetings, phone calls and emails to resolve obstacles and day-to-day operational issues.
  • Prepare contracts for clients and update them immediately with any required changes.
  • Follow up shipments to ensure provision of professional level of customer service for new and existing clients.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Sales Manager.
  • Monitor clients’ performance and volumes.
  • Assist in collecting dues from overdue accounts.
  • Perform other related activities as requested by the Sales Manager.
  • Internal contact with the Senior Management and other team members.
  • External contact with customers and agents.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another related field.
  • Approximately 3+ years of proven sales and business development experience is a must.
  • Previous experience in a relevant industry field.  
  • Ability to travel for work purposes as required.  
  • Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Customer centric attitude.
  • High level of communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to changing work demands.
  • Professional attitude and pleasant personality.
