Junior Tax Associate
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected provider of Corporate Services including Tax, VAT & Accounting to both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Tax Associate to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will work as part of an established team of tax professionals tasked with providing clients with a variety of tax-related services, including preparing tax computations and tax returns as well as assisting with tax compliance work. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics or another relevant field and candidates working towards the ACA/ACCA qualification are encouraged to apply. Any previous experience in a tax focused role is highly desirable with the ability to interpret Financial Statements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English are a must.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist
with the preparation of tax computations of individuals and companies.
- Assist
with tax compliance work.
- Providing
Tax consulting and advice to clients.
- Analyzing
clients’ financial information.
- Advising
clients about tax liabilities and other tax-related matters.
- Keeping-up-to date on tax regulations and legislations.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Ideally
educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a
related field.
- Candidates
working towards the ACA/ACCA qualification are encouraged to apply.
- Previous
experience working in a tax-related role is highly desirable.
- Ability
to understand and interpret financial statements.
- Excellent
verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English.
