CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Gaming Service provider with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Billing & Accounts Receivable Officer to join their growing team. Reporting to the Accounting Controller, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing, managing and maintaining the Billing to Cash Cycle. If you hold approximately 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally gained working for an international company we want to hear from you! Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for this role.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Customer Contracts and record and update customer files as required.
  • Maintain the Billing System with changes/new contract conditions.
  • Generate Customer Invoices/Credit Notes and dispatch to Customers with supporting information.
  • Generate and send Customer Statements and Dunning Letters for  late accounts.
  • Address and solve client questions and issues on a timely basis.
  • Co-operate with Account managers to resolve late accounts.
  • Records customer Invoices and payments and other transactions related to accounts receivable.
  • Carry out Customer and Revenue account reconciliations.
  • Provide information to other internal depts. related to Billing and Receivables.
  • Produce reports relating to Billing and Receivables and carry out revenue Analysis.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Assist with other projects.

 Key Skills/Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience working in a similar position.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency and accountability.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Previous experience in working with Netsuite and or Jedox shall be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent prioritization and organization skills, ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Studying towards ACCA or any other relevant professional accounting body will be considered as an advantage.
