CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading luxury Hotel & Resort, we are seeking to recruit a Waterpark Manager to join their growing team based in Paphos. As the Waterpark Manager of a newly developed facility, the successful applicant will establish operational systems, policies, and contracts, whilst ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or another related field, who possess approximately 5+ years of managerial experience in a large-scale leisure facility, waterpark, or resort environment. A strong F&B management background, with proven success in high-volume operations is essential, as well as strong financial acumen, with a track record in budgeting, forecasting, and pre-opening projects. Excellent communication and organizational skills in Greek and English is a must. A highly competitive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the pre-opening phase, including:
    • Recruitment and training of staff across all departments.
    • Development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safety, guest services, and F&B.
    • Coordination of supplier contracts, equipment installation, and operational licenses.
    • Establishing service standards and staff training aligned with luxury brand values.
  • Oversee all aspects of Waterpark operations, including attractions, lifeguard supervision, F&B outlets, guest services, and maintenance.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as all local and international standards for waterpark operations.
  • Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization across admissions, F&B, and retail.
  • Deliver proactive guest service recovery and maintain the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the resort’s executive team to ensure seamless integration with hotel services.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • A diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Approximately 5+ years of managerial experience in a large-scale leisure facility, waterpark, or resort environment.
  • Strong F&B management background, with proven success in high-volume operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of waterpark rules, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in hiring, training, and motivating large teams.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a track record in budgeting, forecasting, and pre-opening projects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with fluency in Greek and English; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the EU is required.
