CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established Group of Companies operating in the Logistics, Shipping & Supply Chain Management sectors, we are seeking to recruit a Warehouse Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. As The Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all warehouse activities, which include monitoring the team performance, receiving and shipping goods, and ensuring efficient and organized storage. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, who possess proven experience in Warehouse Management and/or Logistics. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and possess strong leadership and team management skills. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Responds to any complaints regarding delivery issues, lost items and incidental damages.
  • Supervises and manages the warehouse team.
  • Works with other departments as to integrate logistics with other company processes.
  • Oversees the procedures for the safe loading of goods/orders and handling of loads in the warehouse areas up to and including delivery points, based on company standards.
  • Identifies any lost or damaged products and notifies the customer immediately.
  • Ensures that the timely arrivals and departures of shipments are tracked and documented, based on company standards.
  • Checks freight labels for proper documentation and confirms that they are consistent with relevant procedures and standards.
  • Uses appropriate freight handling tools (forklifts, fork lifts, hand lifts, etc.).
  • Enters data into inventory and logistics software programs.
  • Supervise the proper sorting and placement of goods in the warehouse areas according to storage standards.
  • Supervises/Participates in inventory controls by collecting order locations, stock location, print requests, recording quantities of materials or items received or distributed via computer.
  • Ensures a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and work stations comfortable, based on company standards.
  • Supervises, on a regular basis, the organization of the warehouse and work area.
  • Supervises the appropriateness of safety equipment.
  • Supervises the maintenance of all warehouse equipment.
  • Supervises and participates in the annual physical verification of 3PL inventory (stock count) performed annually or whenever deemed necessary, in conjunction with staff.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in Warehouse Management and/or Logistics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
  • Knowledge of warehouse health and safety standards.
