Working under the guidance and supervision of an experienced team of tax professionals, the successful applicant will assist with a variety of tax related duties, such as individual and corporate tax compliance work including the preparation of tax calculations, tax returns and other tax forms, as well as providing support on specific projects which require the involvement of a tax expert. An academic background in the fields of Accounting, Economics and Finance or similar is desirable, as well a keen interest to develop your career in the tax field. Any previous relevant professional experience will be considered an advantage, although Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply. Our client offers a highly attractive remuneration and benefits package which includes a 13th Salary, Medical Insurance, Provident Fund & Life Insurance.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting with individual and corporate tax compliance work including the preparation of tax calculations, tax returns and other tax forms.
  • Review of agreements and proposed transactions to assess the potential tax impact taking into consideration tax legislation, double tax treaties and common practice.
  • Providing support on specific projects / assignments which require the involvement of a tax expert.
  • Liaising with local tax authorities on client issues.
  • Assisting with preparation of ad hoc tax advisory work.
  • Reporting results and findings to more senior staff and providing them with general support as necessary.
  • Discussing client queries and requests and assisting in the drafting of relevant responses.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in a business-related field preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance or similar.
  • An interest in the field of Tax is essential.
  • Any previous relevant professional experience will be considered an advantage, but not essential and full training will be provided.
  • Energetic with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
