As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for fostering and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert. Our client is seeking applicants who possess experience working in a software development environment, with any Account Management experience gained working in the Payments Systems industry considered a significant advantage. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the primary technical contact for assigned clients, working closely with the Relationship Manager.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, acting as their trusted advisor and technical expert.
  • Gain insights into their strategic goals and long-term vision of the assigned clients.
  • Actively engage in discussions to help shape clients' product pipeline and roadmap by offering industry insights, best practices, and solution capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client requirements.
  • Advocate for the client within the organization to ensure that product improvements and enhancements align with their needs.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to maximize client value.
  • Preliminary discussions with the client to assist in clarifying business needs and establishing requirements prior to formal project initiation.
  • Act as an additional point of client contact to the Relationship Manager.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science or related area.
  • Experience in a software development environment.
  • Account Management experience in the Payment Systems industry would be a plus.
  • Payment processing knowledge.
  • Good networking and people skills with a proactive approach to relationships.
  • Strategic thinker, able to operate at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
  • Extensive experience with MS Excel/Google sheets.
  • Availability to travel to client sites.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
