Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Prepare provisional and final corporate income tax computations for group entities in accordance with Cyprus tax legislation.
• Gather financial and accounting information for tax computations, including statutory account reconciliations.
• Work with external tax advisors to finalize tax computations and ensure supporting workings are complete.
• Review of final income tax returns.
• Track tax filing deadlines and coordinate timely submissions with internal teams and advisors.
• Coordinate with external advisors on the preparation of Local Files and TP documentation for Cyprus holding and financing structures — providing intercompany agreements, financials and supporting data, and reviewing draft TP documentation for accuracy and completeness before finalization.
• Maintain organized tax working papers, computations, schedules and supporting documentation for each entity.
• Respond to information requests from tax advisors, auditors or tax authorities.
• Support tax balance and provision reconciliations during statutory audits.
• Monitor Cyprus and international tax law changes affecting the group’s tax positions.
• Improve tax templates, checklists and internal processes.
• Support the team in maintaining financial records and books, preparing quarterly financial statements and, where required, annual audited financial statements.
• Perform other accounting duties for the company and its investment vehicles as required.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in tax, accounting or audit, gained in-house or within a Big 4 or similar professional services environment.
• Fluent in both Greek and English.
• Professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTA or Cyprus equivalent), part-qualified or qualified, is an advantage but not essential.
• Excellent working knowledge of the Cyprus corporate tax regime, including provisional and final tax computation requirements and filing obligations.
• Strong understanding of transfer pricing principles and Local File requirements is essential, with the ability to critically review TP documentation prepared by external advisors against the group's Cyprus holding and financing structures.
• Exposure to the preparation of corporate tax computations, whether provisional or final, is required.
• Experience or exposure to Cyprus holding structures and international investment or private equity structures is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to preparing and reviewing tax computations.
• Good time management, with the ability to prioritize and meet filing deadlines.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with ownership of tasks and sound judgment on when to seek guidance.
• Positive and enthusiastic, with accuracy and composure under pressure.
• Intellectually rigorous and curious, with interest in the tax rationale behind structures and transactions.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a practical and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Professional, reliable and discreet when handling sensitive financial and tax information.
