CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global provider of Professional Services with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Tax Supervisor to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Tax Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to clients, as well as preparing and reviewing corporate and individual income tax returns. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Applied Statistics, Risk Management, or other relevant fields, who possess at least 2+ years of experience in a similar position. Part or Fully Qualified members of the ACA or ACCA are encouraged to apply, and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must, along with sound knowledge of TaxisNet and other electronic platforms, with knowledge of Caseware Tax Forms considered a plus. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Providing tax advisory services to clients.
  • Preparing and reviewing corporate and individual income tax returns (e.g., TD1, TD4, TD7, IR63, IR59).
  • Preparing and reviewing tax computations, provisional tax calculations, and final tax assessments.
  • Ensuring timely submission of all statutory filings via Taxisnet and other electronic platforms.
  • Handling client queries and correspondence with the Cyprus Tax Department.
  • Preparing VAT and VIES returns.
  • Identifying and communicating tax and VAT risks to the clients in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing tax computations and returns prepared by junior team members.
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to junior staff.
  • Coordinating with the audit, accounting, and corporate departments to support clients’ tax needs.
  • Managing deadlines and workload scheduling for the team.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Applied Statistics, Risk Management or a related field.
  • Part or Fully qualified ACA/ACCA members are encouraged to apply.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Sufficient knowledge of Taxisnet and other electronic platforms.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Knowledge of Russian language is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Caseware Tax Forms will be considered as an advantage.
  • Able to work under tight and continuous deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
