CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit, Accounting, Tax & Advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Tax Compliance Officer to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Tax Compliance Officer, you will handle a range of tax-related duties, including assisting clients with TD1, TD4, TD7, and TD614 forms, non-dom applications, TRCs, Confirmation letters and Registrations/Deregistration’s from the Tax Office. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, or another related field, who possess a strong academic record and desire to pursue a professional tax qualification. You should hold approximately 2+ years of experience in a relevant position, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a competitive base salary, 13th salary, provident fund, and full sponsorship available towards a professional qualification.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of Cyprus income tax returns, temporary tax calculations, and defence tax forms.
  • Preparation of TD1, TD4, TD7, TD614, TD623 or other tax forms that are necessary for individual and companies in Cyprus.
  • Liaise with the Cyprus Tax Department and other authorities on client matters.
  • Assist in tax registrations, tax residency certificate applications, and due diligence procedures.
  • Maintain and update internal records, ensuring deadlines and obligations are met.
  • Participate in client meetings and team discussions.
  • Communicate with clients and the Cyprus Tax Department on routine tax matters.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Graduate in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Working towards any professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA or ADIT are a plus.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience is required.
  • Good understanding on Cyprus Tax Law and official guidance documents.
  • Good accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
