Tax Compliance Associate
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit, Accounting, Tax & Advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Tax Compliance Associate to join their growing team based in Larnaca. Reporting to the Tax Manager, the successful applicant will primarily be responsible for ensuring tax compliance and carrying out tax preparations on behalf of a portfolio of clients. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Law or similar, who possess proven experience in a relevant tax focused role. Holders of any relevant accounting and/or tax qualification are encouraged to apply (ACA/ACCA/ADIT). An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th salary, and provident fund.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for tax compliance and tax preparation on behalf of a portfolio of
clients.
- Keeping
up-to-date with relevant tax law and regulations, and advise clients
accordingly.
- Conduct
financial analysis, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Provide
ongoing tax planning advice to clients.
- Preparing
tax returns.
- Providing
assistance to clients regarding any other relevant tax-related matters.
Key Skills/Experience:
- An
academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Law or similar is
desirable.
- Holders
of any relevant accounting and/or tax qualification are encouraged to
apply (ACA/ACCA/ADIT).
- Proven
experience in a relevant tax focused role is a must.
- Strong
knowledge of local tax regulations and legislation.
- Strong
understanding of finance and financial analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
