CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Audit, Tax and Advisory Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Tax Associate to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will work as part of an established team of tax professionals tasked with providing clients with a variety of tax-related services, including preparing tax computations and tax returns, as well as assisting with tax compliance work. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics or another relevant field, and candidates who are full members of a recognised accounting body, or working towards the qualification are encouraged to apply. You will need to have previous experience in a tax-focused role, with the ability to interpret Financial Statements, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English are a must. Working hours are from 08:00 – 16:30 from Monday to Thursday, and from 08:00 to 15:00 each Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Assist with the preparation of tax computations of individuals and companies.
  • Prepare and review tax declarations.
  • Assist with tax compliance work.
  • Providing Tax consulting and advice to clients.
  • Analyzing clients’ financial information.
  • Advising clients about tax liabilities and other tax-related matters.
  • Keeping-up-to date on tax regulations and legislations.

Key Skills/Experience:  

  • Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field.
  • Members of, or those working towards the ACA/ACCA qualification are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience working in a tax-related role is a must.
  • Knowledge of Cyprus Tax Law.
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial statements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Computer literate.
