Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
• Develop software system testing or validation procedures.
• Contribute to software programming and development of documentation.
• Consult with other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance.
• Work with databases [RDBMS/NoSQL].
• Analyse information to determine, recommend, and plan implementation of a new system or modification of an existing system.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Educated to degree level in Computer Science, or another closely related field.
• Development experience working with technologies such as NodeJS, Typescript, JavaScript, Angular, NestJS, Jest, Python, FastAPI, Ruby, Bash, MQTT or other Queueing systems.
• Any experience with JavaScript frameworks other than Angular like VueJS, React, SolidJS will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
• A passion for developing clean, scalable code is a must.
• Ability to work well independently, and as part of a wider Team.
