CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider Corporate Services, with fully fledged offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Tax Associate to join their growing team. The successful applicant will take ownership of end-to-end corporate tax compliance and contribute to advisory projects for both local and international clients. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics or similar, who possess approximately 3+ years of experience in corporate tax within a professional services firm. Full members of a relevant accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA) are encouraged to apply, as well as those working towards a professional qualification. Strong knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation and practical compliance experience is essential, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and review Cyprus corporate tax returns and related computations for a diverse client portfolio.
  • Assist with tax advisory work, including corporate structuring, tax due diligence, and cross-border transactions.
  • Liaise directly with clients and tax authorities to resolve queries and ensure smooth compliance processes.
  • Conduct research on Cyprus and international tax issues and assist in drafting technical memos or client deliverables.
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess their potential impact on clients’ tax positions.
  • Support the preparation of tax provisions and deferred tax calculations for financial reporting purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and deadlines.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, or related discipline.
  • ACA, ACCA, or ADIT qualified (or in the advanced stages of qualification).
  • Approximately 3+ years of professional experience in corporate tax within a professional services firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation and practical compliance experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
  • High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and tax software is considered an advantage.
