Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Understand customer requirements and contribute towards the development of new network and security solutions to meet their needs.
• Deploy networking solutions adhering to the low-level design and the manufacturer’s best practices guidelines and contribute towards customer-facing project documentation.
• Provide effective technical support for customer networks, adhering to the agreed SLAs.
• Work with an extensive range of customers, including SME, governmental, financial sector as well as telecom operators.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of demonstrated work experience in a network engineering role.
• Solid understanding of data networking principles, strong IP routing and switching knowledge, fundamental understanding of TCP/IP.
• Understanding of overlay networking solutions (e.g., EVPN), MPLS-based services, experience with network automation frameworks and configuration management platforms, will all be considered an advantage.
• Networking professional certifications, e.g. Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco or Aruba/HPE will be considered an advantage.
• Proven documentation skills (in the form of Low-Level Design or High-Level Design document) will be considered an advantage.
• Self-motivating and willing to continuously update skills and technical knowledge, through self-study or training.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Display initiative and sense of ownership/responsibility as well as a strong customer service orientation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities (in English and Greek).
• Friendly and professional manner with an enthusiastic positive approach towards tasks.
