As a Senior Manager (Financial Services Advisory) you will play a pivotal role in driving clients' success, leveraging your deep knowledge of corporate finance and transaction advisory to deliver exceptional value. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in the areas of Banking, Finance, Accounting or similar, and holders of any professional qualifications such as the CFA, ACA and/or ACCA are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess extensive, proven experience in a financial services transaction advisory position, or a similar leadership role, with a proven record of managing large and complex engagements. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Acting as a senior advisor on buy and sell side support engagements, including provision of due diligence and valuation services in the financial services sector covering banking institutions, insurance companies, EMIs, PIs and other Fintech’s.
  • Managing valuations of loan portfolios, including portfolio underwriting.
  • Overseeing buy and sell side due diligence work on loan portfolios.
  • Supervising the preparation of business and restructuring plans for financial services entities, ensuring strategic alignment with client objectives.
  • Overseeing the analysis and interpretation of sector data, market studies, and other relevant information to support strategic decision-making.
  • Taking ownership of business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities, building client relationships and preparing proposals for potential clients.
  • Providing mentorship and strategic guidance to junior team members, fostering growth and ensuring the smooth collaboration within the team.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in the areas of Banking, Finance, Accounting or related fields.
  • Professional qualifications such as the CFA, ACA and/or ACCA will be considered an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in a financial services transaction advisory position, or a similar leadership role, with a proven record of managing large and complex engagements.
  • Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to review financial models with high accuracy and provide strategic insight.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, in a position to engage senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Dynamic problem solver who is able to take initiative, think critically and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly in financial analysis and modelling tools.
  • Ability to lead teams and coach more junior team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek.
