CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Technology Group based in Cyprus providing powerful CRM technologies primarily to the Casino and iGaming industries, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Legal & Compliance Specialist to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Senior Legal & Compliance Specialist, you will primarily be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance on all matters related to the iGaming industry, as well as ensuring the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, who possess approximately 3+ years of proven experience in a relevant role, ideally gained working in the iGaming sector. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on all matters related to the iGaming industry.
  • Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the iGaming industry.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a thorough understanding of legal and compliance requirements.
  • Provide training and support to staff on legal and compliance matters.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Educated to degree level in Law.
  • Minimum of 4 years of legal experience in corporate/commercial/compliance. 
  • Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, employment law,  intellectual property law and regulatory requirements. 
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • iGaming industry experience a plus.
  • Any compliance certificate is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of licensing and compliance requirements in the iGaming sector is a plus.
