Senior Lawyer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading provider of Legal Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Lawyer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Senior Lawyer, you will primarily be responsible for advising and assisting clients across a range of legal areas, including cross-border transactions, negotiation of contracts and other legal documents, M&A transactions and Corporate Governance. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, who are full members of the Cyprus Bar Association, and possess approximately 3+ years of proven experience in the areas of Corporate and Commercial Law. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, and working hours are from 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Thursday, and from 08:30 to 13:30 each Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Advising
and/or assisting clients with cross-border transactions, including
structuring, drafting/reviewing, negotiation of contracts and other legal
documents, M&A transactions and corporate governance.
- Preparation
of legal opinions in the area of Corporate, Commercial, and Bank Finance
law.
- Supervising
a team of junior lawyers and paralegals.
- Drafting
articles and memos on topics of corporate and commercial law.
- Assisting the partners with the management of the activities of the office.
Key Skills/Experience:
- LLB
and/or LLM from well-respected University.
- Member
of the Cyprus Bar Association.
- Approximately
3+ years of proven experience in Corporate/Commercial Law.
- Strong
drafting skills.
- Ability
and experience to handle/close transactions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent
command of the English and Greek languages.
- Excellent research skills.
