CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a Top-Tier Law Firm with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Lawyer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Senior Legal Associate, you will be responsible for drafting a variety of corporate and commercial agreements on behalf of clients, as well as handling complex corporate transactions. You should be educated to degree level in Law from a well-respected University, and be a member of the Cyprus Bar Association, and holders of the LPC are also encouraged to apply. Our client is seeking applicants who possess in excess of 5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience gained working for a reputable Law Firm. Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents as well as corporate and commercial agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Drafting, reviewing legal opinions, memorandum and articles of association, resolutions, power of attorneys and any other legal documents.
  • Handling complex corporate transactions, reorganisations and restructurings, including re-domiciliation of companies, dissolutions, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance transactions.
  • Conducting legal research.
  • Communication with clients, government authorities and other associates in Cyprus and abroad.
  • Any other relevant duties as required by Management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • LLB (Hons).
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
  • LPC holders are encouraged to apply.
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience working for a Top-Tier law firm in Cyprus.
  • In-depth experience in commercial law.
  • In-depth experience in secured financing transactions.
  • Civil litigation experience will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with high attention to detail.
  • Fluent command of English and Greek, verbal and written.
  • Complete digital literacy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
