Senior Front-End Engineer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and rapidly expanding technology company that specializes in building custom SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions for businesses around the globe, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Front-End Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will take a leading role in architecting and scaling the front end of our client’s real-time social/chat platforms. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, owns their work end-to-end, and delivers polished, production-grade interfaces with precision. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another related field, who possess 6+ years of experience in front-end engineering with modern JavaScript frameworks. Deep expertise in Vue.js and strong command of core web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript) is essential and experience with chat platforms, user monetization, or SaaS front ends will be considered an advantage. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture,
development, and optimization of a complex Vue.js-based web platform.
- Build and scale real-time,
high-traffic user experiences using WebSockets and modern browser APIs.
- Own the UI/UX layer — from
performance to accessibility to pixel-perfect execution.
- Translate high-level product
specs into scalable, maintainable front-end systems.
- Collaborate tightly with
backend engineers and product leadership in an agile environment.
- Conduct code reviews, establish
front-end best practices, and mentor junior developers if needed.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University degree in Software
Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar is highly
desirable.
- 6+ years of experience in
front-end engineering with modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Deep expertise in Vue.js (Vue 3
/ Composition API), and strong command of core web technologies (HTML5,
CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience building real-time
apps with WebSockets, event-driven state management, and async flows.
- Track record of building
mobile-first, highly optimized, responsive web interfaces.
- Strong understanding of system
design, component architecture, performance tuning, and browser nuances.
- Able to operate independently
with minimal direction in a startup-style team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with chat platforms,
user monetization, or SaaS front ends.
- Familiarity with Nuxt,
Tailwind, or advanced animation frameworks.
- Passion for design systems, UI
polish, and micro-interactions.
- Prior experience in startups or lean, execution-focused teams.
