CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding Law Firm, with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Corporate Lawyer to join their growing team. As a Senior Corporate Lawyer, you will be responsible for a range of corporate and commercial legal matters on behalf of a diverse portfolio of clients. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, who are full members of the Cyprus Bar Association. You will need to possess approximately 3+ years of relevant, post-qualification experience in Corporate Law, with strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents, as well as corporate and commercial agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Drafting, reviewing legal opinions, memorandum and articles of association, resolutions, power of attorneys and any other legal documents.
  • Handling complex corporate transactions, reorganisations and restructurings, including re-domiciliation of companies, dissolutions, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance transactions.
  • Conducting legal research.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, banks, foreign agents, other professional advisors (e.g. tax, accounting).
  • Supervise, mentor, and manage more junior legal staff.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and advise on risk mitigation.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • LLB from a well-respected University.
  • Holders of an LLM are encouraged to apply.
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
  • 3+ years of relevant post qualification experience in Corporate & Commercial Law.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken.
  • Computer literate.
  • Outstanding organizational and team working skills.
  • Willingness to learn and evolve in a fast-paced environment.
