CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ largest and most well-respected providers of Corporate & Professional Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Compliance Consultant to join their growing Compliance Advisory team based in the heart of Nicosia. As a Senior Compliance Consultant, you will contribute to compliance advisory engagements covering regulatory compliance including anti-financial crime matters, as well as interpret regulatory requirements and participate in compliance reviews, gap analyses, risk assessments, and advisory deliverables. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, Accounting, Business, or another relevant field, and holders of the CySEC advanced certification and/or CAMS certification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess 3+ years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, internal audit, anti-money laundering, or a related role. Sound knowledge of regulatory compliance, including anti-financial crime frameworks is essential, and fluency in English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Contribute to compliance advisory engagements covering regulatory compliance including anti-financial crime matters.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and participate in compliance reviews, gap analyses, risk assessments, and advisory deliverables.
  • Participate in diverse engagements across different industries, adapting to varying client needs, regulatory requirements, and project scopes.
  • Conduct research on regulatory developments and assist in the preparation of reports, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely, accurate and high-quality delivery of assigned engagements.
  • Continuously build and maintain knowledge across the broader compliance and regulatory framework.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • University degree in Law, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • CySEC Advanced Certification and/or CAMS will be considered an advantage.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, internal audit, anti-money laundering, or a related role.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory compliance, including anti-financial crime frameworks.
  • Strong willingness to read, learn and expand into new compliance and regulatory areas.
  • Technologically literate, with the ability to work comfortably across different tools and engagement types.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, with any additional language skills considered an advantage.
