Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Perform bookkeeping and maintain the accounting records for a number of companies, in accordance with IFRS.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Conduct monthly banks’, debtors’ and suppliers’ reconciliations.
• Support a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industry sectors with their accounting/ bookkeeping requests and reply to add-hoc requests from clients.
• Proficiently communicating with clients, gathering relevant documentation and/or information.
• Assist with and manage the preparation and submission of VAT and VIES reports.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly payroll calculations, as needed.
• Coordinate with auditors, local authorities, and external stakeholders, as needed.
• Be able to offer guidance and support to more junior members of the accounting team.
• Review accounting team work as needed.
• As needed, assisting with other accounting projects.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or another related field is desired.
• Professional qualification will be considered an advantage (ACA/ACCA).
• 3+ years of experience in a related role.
• Prior experience in the financial services sector will be considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Cyprus tax legislation, and VAT regulations.
• Knowledge of E-Soft accounting software will be considered as an additional advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
