Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Perform audit engagements for a portfolio of clients in accordance with ISAs and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare audit working papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation using CaseWare.
• Review accounting records and evaluate internal controls, identifying key audit risks and proposing appropriate audit procedures.
• Perform substantive and analytical audit procedures, ensuring audit files are completed in a high-quality and timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Cyprus Companies Law.
• Communicate with clients on audit findings, outstanding information, deadlines, and audit progress.
• Assist in resolving technical or audit-related matters and provide support to clients on accounting and reporting issues.
• Plan and organise audit work in line with deadlines, ensuring efficient workflow and client satisfaction.
• Handle ad-hoc audit and assurance assignments as required.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• College or University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA/ACA qualification or at the final stage of ACCA/ACA studies.
• 3+ years of experience in an audit firm or similar audit role.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS, ISAs, and Cyprus Companies Law.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken Greek and English.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office; experience with CaseWare is essential.
