Senior Auditor
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting external audit engagements in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), as well as preparing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, who possess approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in an audit firm, and are either partly qualified or fully qualified accountants. Knowledge of Caseware system is a must, as well as excellent command of both the English and Greek languages. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managing
a portfolio of clients and accommodate their reporting and filings.
- Conducting
statutory audits as well as reviews of Audit files in good quality and in
accordance with professional standards.
- Basic
tax computation and tax filings.
- Reporting
directly to the engagement partner.
- Direct
communication with clients.
- Being
able to provide guidance and training to junior audit team members.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated
to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.
- Part or
Fully Qualified Accountant.
- 3+
years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent
knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
- Confident
user of MS Office applications.
- Familiar
with Caseware software.
- Excellent
knowledge of the English and Greek languages.
