CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will be responsible for executing external audit engagements in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), as well as preparing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, who possess approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in an audit firm, and are either partly qualified or fully qualified accountants. Knowledge of Caseware system is a must, as well as excellent command the English language, both verbal and written. An outstanding remuneration and benefits package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary, provident fund, medical insurance, 23 days of annual leave, flexible working hours, Friday afternoon’s off and a hybrid working model.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Execute external audit engagements in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of corporate and personal income tax returns.
  • Collaborate effectively with audit managers, supervisors, and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Communicate audit findings clearly and timely, and assist in resolving client queries and issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and audit files using appropriate tools and software.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field.
  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in an audit firm is essential.
  • Part or Fully Qualified Member of the ACA/ACCA.
  • Knowledge of Caseware software.  
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to showcase professionalism.
