Senior Auditor
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit, Accounting & Tax related services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of a wide range of audit engagements on behalf of clients. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another closely related field, and holders of, or those studying towards a professional accounting qualification are encouraged to apply. You should possess approximately 3+ years of proven experience working in audit, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Our client offers an attractive remuneration package, based on skills and experience, as well as excellent working hours, which include Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 08:15 – 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break, and from 08:15 - 15:00 each Wednesday & Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Planning,
directing and reviewing all phases of an audit engagement for all types of
engagements.
- Having
the ability to work for multiple clients simultaneously.
- Developing,
supervising, coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Ensuring
delivery of high-quality client service, within predetermined budgets and
timeframes.
- Ensuring
compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Being
able to tackle basic accounting and/or tax issues, find the legislations
and apply the principles.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated
to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another relevant
field is desirable.
- Part or
Full Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA.
- Approximately
3+ years of relevant experience in Audit is essential.
- Relevant
experience in dealing with preparation of audited financial statements.
- Knowledge
of computerized Accounting Systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent
knowledge of Caseware Software (Caseware Audit international).
- Excellent
knowledge of the Greek and English language.
- Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage.
