Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Manage a portfolio of international clients, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of accounting and financial reporting services.
• Prepare and review accounting records, management accounts and financial statements.
• Maintain accounting records for entities holding investment portfolios, including equities, bonds, funds and other financial instruments.
• Review investment statements, bank records and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
• Liaise directly with clients regarding accounting, reporting and operational matters.
• Communicate and coordinate with banks, custodians, brokers, investment managers, trustees, auditors, lawyers and other professional advisers.
• Review corporate and trust documentation to ensure consistency with transactions, structures and accounting records.
• Prepare and draft corporate documents, including board resolutions, shareholder resolutions, minutes and other corporate records.
• Assist with the administration of Trusts and international corporate structures.
• Maintain statutory and corporate records and ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance and support where required.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and reporting issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal procedures and quality requirements.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ACA / ACCA qualified or in advanced stages of qualification.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably within a professional services, fiduciary, corporate services or accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Experience working with international clients and cross-border structures.
• Experience with investment holding companies, financial instruments or Trust structures will be considered an advantage.
• Exposure to corporate administration and preparation of corporate documentation will be considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of external parties and professionals.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Professional judgement and problem-solving capabilities
• Proactive, client-focused and solution-oriented approach.
