Senior Accountant
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit, Accounting and Tax-related services to a diverse portfolio of both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Senior Accountant, you will primarily be responsible for providing a range of accounting and bookkeeping services to a portfolio of local and international clients. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field, and those working towards the ACA or ACCA qualification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess approximately 3+ years of experience in a relevant role, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping
for local and international clients.
- Assistance
in the preparation and filing of VAT and VIES forms.
- Monthly
payroll processing for clients (training given).
- Regular
communication and coordination with clients.
- Any
other relevant duties as required by Management.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University
degree in a related field or LCCI Higher.
- At
least 3 years of experience in an accounting or audit firm.
- Partly
qualified ACA or ACCA will be considered an advantage.
- Fluency
in both Greek and English.
- Strong
organizational, communication, and methodological skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a friendly team environment.
