Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Lead assigned audit sections (revenues, payroll, tax provisions, fixed assets, and others) from planning through to conclusion.
• Prepare working papers that are clear, complete, and compliant with ISA methodology and firm standards.
• Gather and assess audit evidence, ensuring it is sufficient, appropriate, and properly documented.
• Perform analytical procedures and identify risk areas, flagging misstatements early.
• Assist with tax computations, including TD4 and SIT schedules.
• Escalate technical matters clearly and promptly to senior, with a proposed treatment where possible.
• Collaborate with the Senior Auditor to ensure section-level work is complete, consistent, and review-ready.
• Communicate on progress, blockers, and budget status.
• Liaise professionally with clients on document requests and queries under supervision.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field is desirable.
• ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification — at intermediate stages or above.
• Approximately 2+ years of experience in external audit.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Familiarity with basic Cyprus corporate tax principles, including TD4 and SIT.
• Experience with Caseware preferable.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
