CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established international company specialising in the development, production and distribution of sensors and measurement electronics for a range of industry sectors, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Representative to join their growing team based in Cyprus, on a fully remote basis. As a Sales Representative, you will primarily be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across a wide range of target markets. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related technical field, who possess 2+ years of proven sales experience within electronics, sensor technology, industrial components, or technical B2B markets. You will need to possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and be willing and able to travel as required to customer sites, industry events, and exhibitions, both in Cyprus and abroad. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across a wide range of target markets.  
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical consultations.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales agreements aligned with customer needs.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and realising sales and turnover targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, and new customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries related to sensors, measurement solutions, and electronic components.
  • Monitor customer projects, ensuring products are delivered on time and meet performance expectations.
  • Understand and articulate the technical specifications, capabilities, and application use cases of specialist sensors and electronics.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends, competitive offerings, and new application opportunities.       

 

Key Skills/Experience:

    

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or related technical field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of sales experience within electronics, sensor technology, industrial components, or technical B2B markets.
  • Strong understanding of electronic systems, sensing technologies, and industrial applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, industry events, and exhibitions.
  • Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently.
  • Fluency in English is a must, and Greek would be an advantage.
