CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established Group of Companies operating in the Logistics, Shipping & Supply Chain Management sectors, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive business growth through innovative sales strategies and team development with a focus on both B2B and B2C market development. You will need to possess approximately 5+ years of relevant professional experience, gained working in Logistics, Forwarding or another closely related industry, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Map and generate potential customers for the organization.
  • Achieve the company's sales targets through effective planning.
  • Assign tasks according to effectiveness and abilities of the salespersons.
  • Devise strategies and techniques as to achieve sales targets.
  • Promote the company brand and make the services offered well-known.
  • Review weekly and monthly team reports meeting the expectations and desire results of the organization.
  • Plan strategies to improve customer relations.
  • Identify emerging markets and market changes, while being fully aware of new services and competition.
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of the customer service process.   
  • Ensure that the sales team communication with customers is personalized with high quality service experience.           
  • Review complaint issues and report serious or repeated failures or unreliable service quality.
  • Recommends corrective actions and make plans for overall defect reduction in services.        
  • Participate in the recruitment selection of sales personnel, targeting quality personnel to ensure the maximum efficiency and competency of the department.            
  • Coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Provides timely feedback to Senior Management on department’s performance by statistical reporting.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.
  • A demonstrated sales background in Logistics, Forwarding or any related industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant position.
  • The ability to meet, and ideally exceed designated sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English.
