CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established international Freight Forwarding company, with newly established operations here in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Executive to join their team on a fully remote basis. In this role you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, and maintaining existing client relationships within the shipping and logistics sector. The role focuses on promoting freight services, achieving sales targets, and contributing to overall business growth. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or another relevant field, who possess approximately 1+ years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics sales. Strong knowledge of sea freight, Incoterms, and shipping documentation is essential, and you must be target-driven with proven sales track record. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience, including a 13th salary. Working hours are from 08:00 – 16:00 or 09:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and shipping services.
  • Generate leads through cold calls, networking, and client visits.
  • Promote sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, and related logistics services.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, and corporate clients.
  • Understand customer shipping requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and follow-ups.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve service-related issues.
  • Prepare competitive freight quotations in coordination with operations and pricing teams.
  • Negotiate rates and contract terms with clients.
  • Follow up on quotations and convert leads into confirmed shipments.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and CRM updates.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs and market conditions.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
  • Approximately 1+ years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics sales.
  • Strong knowledge of sea freight, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Target-driven with proven sales track record.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
