CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a highly reputable and long-standing Group operating in the Travel & Tourism sector, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Executive to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Sales Executive, you will combine account management, business development, and market analysis, with a clear pathway toward future leadership within the commercial team. Any prior experience in airline sales, the travel industry, or a GSA environment is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of the Cyprus travel trade and distribution landscape considered a plus. You will need to be fluent in Greek and English, and hold a valid driver’s licence. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, including a 13th salary, Provident Fund, and Company Car.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate, leisure, and specialist clients to drive commercial and revenue performance in Cyprus.
  • Build strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and key trade partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and implement targeted sales initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support commercial strategy.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and training sessions to strengthen partner engagement.
  • Represent the airline in the local market, ensuring strong brand presence and visibility.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline tracking through CRM systems.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure effective execution of commercial activities.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • Experience in airline sales, travel industry, or GSA environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the Cyprus travel trade and distribution landscape is a plus.
  • Knowledge of fares, ticketing, and reservations systems will be considered an advantage.
  • Commercial mindset with ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Existing network within travel agencies or corporate segment in Cyprus is a plus.
  • Knowledge of airline products and services is a plus.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and translate into action.
  • Self-driven with strong ownership mentality and ambition to grow.
