CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading independent international insurance broker which provides insurance solutions to high value corporate clientele, we are seeking to recruit a Relationship Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Relationship Manager, you will primarily be tasked with developing and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients. As part of your role, you will be required to develop a solid understanding of the insurance services and solutions offered by the Company to effectively communicate and demonstrate their value proposition to potential corporate clients. We are seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Law, Insurance, Business Administration or similar, who possess approximately 2+ years of experience in Relationship Management, Business Development, Sales, and/or Account Management, with any prior exposure to the Insurance industry considered an advantage, but not essential. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, with a proven track record of developing and nurturing long-lasting client relationships. Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients.
  • Working closely with new and existing clients to help generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop a solid understanding of insurance services and solutions offered by the Company to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to stay ahead of the curve and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Help the Company to meet and exceed sales quotas and targets.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of all outbound activities, including contact information, sales calls, and opportunities.
  • Attend conferences, networking events, and client meetings to promote the firm’s services.

Key Skills/Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Law, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Relationship Management, Business Development, Sales, or Account Management is required.
  • Any previous experience working in the Insurance sector will be considered a plus, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English and Greek in both written and verbal communication.
  • License for conducting general insurance business by the Insurance Institute of Cyprus is a plus, or at least willing to undertake it.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel abroad as required.
