CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Reconciliation Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for reconciling Banks and PSPs balances with account statements and client funds on a daily basis. You will ideally hold an academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other relevant field and possess approximately 1+ year of previous experience working in a similar role.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Reconcile data in the accounting system (reconcile banks/PSPs balances with account statements and client funds with platform balances) daily.
  • Follow up and resolve tasks with other departments in the company.
  • Assist in the reporting of the reconciliation findings.
  • Perform research, reconciliation, and resolution of all account discrepancies.
  • Preparing various daily/weekly/monthly reports related to client funds and balances.
  • Assist in the reporting of the reconciliation findings.
  • Liaise with other departments to investigate discrepancies.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • At least 1+ year of previous experience in a similar position.
  • Outstanding ability to identify errors.
  • Advanced computer software skills including Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Team player and trustworthy.
  • Able to adjust easily on any new product and payment methods onboarded by the company.
