CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly regarded company operating in the iGaming industry, we are seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Team Leader to join their growing Safer Gambling & AML Risk Team based in Limassol. In this role you will lead a dynamic team of Quality Assurance Officers and collaborate closely with the Senior Quality Assurance Officer to ensure system and operational excellence across multiple regulated markets. Reporting directly to the Safer Gambling & AML Risk Team Manager, you will play an integral role in maintaining high standards of compliance and operational quality. You should possess approximately 2+ years of leadership experience in a relevant role, and will need to be an advanced user of MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and conditional formatting, and be very fluent in both verbal and written English. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, mentor, and support the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the senior quality assurance officer to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee and enhance the quality assurance framework, identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Draft, update, and maintain quality assurance policies, operational guidance, and procedural documentation.
  • Design and maintain Excel-based quality assurance tracking tools and reporting mechanisms to support quality control and compliance monitoring.
  • Deliver training sessions to onboard and upskill quality assurance officers and the senior quality assurance officer.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing relevant documentation and supporting data as required.
  • Report directly to the Safer Gambling and AML Risk Team Manager, supporting the team in delivering compliance-related objectives.
  • Take ownership of compliance-related tasks and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and escalate issues or risks as needed.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising or coordinating a team.
  • Proven computer literacy, particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and review tasks.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and ownership over the team's performance and output.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to proactively identify areas for improvement and support strategic decision-making.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to draft policies, procedures, and reports in a clear and professional manner.
  • Prior experience in a compliance, auditing, or quality assurance environment is an asset; however, full training will be provided to the successful candidate to ensure confidence in the role.
