The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and preparing reports relating to purchase orders and costs. You will ideally hold an academic background relating to Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any other relevant field, and possess proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar. As a Purchasing Officer, you will need to have a good understanding of supply chain procedures, along with solid analytical skills to ensure you identify the most profitable deals.
